No conversation about underrated country artists is ever complete without mentioning American singer and songwriter – Jennifer Nettles. The musician is best known for being the lead singer of Sugarland – an American country music duo founded in 2002 which also includes Kristian Bush.

In 2003, she joined the group Sugarland which consists of Kristian Bush and Kristen Hall. In 2006, Kristen Hall left the group, leaving Jennifer and Kristian to perform as a duo. In 2006, the band was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best New Artist category.
In 2008, they were nominated in three categories for the 51st Annual Grammy Awards and ultimately won Best Country Performance for a Duo or Group and Best Country Song.

Jennifer Nettles’ first marriage was to Todd VanSickle in 1998. The two lasted almost ten years together but finally divorced in 2007. Shortly after, she had a relationship with Justin Miller and, after two years together , they married on November 26, 2011 in a sunset ceremony in East Tennessee at a Blackberry farm.
On June 18, 2012, Jennifer and Justin announced that they were expecting their first child together. Their son, Magnus, was then born on December 6, 2012.
